We invite you (or your young person) to be a part of First Baptist’s youth group. We meet for Sunday School at 9:30am, Sunday Night Discipleship at 6pm, and Wednesday Night Youth at 7pm. We also have a variety of youth events, ministries, and get-to-gethers.
Here at First Baptist, we are excited to have a youth ministry in which we seek to provide an environment for our youth to CONNECT with God and with other believers, GROW in their walk with God, and SERVE and REACH others inside and outside of the church.
CONNECT
We love to tell and remind young people about what Christ did on the cross for them! We also teach our teens how to tell others about Christ and His Word. This takes place weekly in our regular services, youth outreaches, and also on our youth mission trips.
GROW
As a church, we are committed to seeing God work through His Word and the Spirit in the lives of our church family. We are committed to the faithful, practical, applicational preaching and teaching of God’s Word. At the youth level, this includes Sunday School, Wednesday Night Youth, and Sunday Night Discipleship. We also help them grow through training concerning their personal times of prayer and digging into God’s Word.
SERVE and REACH
The Christian walk is not one that is meant to done solo. Our youth group is encouraged to and active in serving and reaching others inside and outside of our church. Our teens are encouraged to serve in the various aspects of church ministry, and as we seek to reach out as a church. A life of service to others and reaching others with the good news of the gospel is a life that will have an eternal purpose, impact, and meaning.

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another.” (John 15:16)
