The Good News of Salvation Through Jesus Christ
The gospel is the good news that God loves you and has made a way for you to know Him personally and experience eternal life. This message is simply explained through key verses in the book of Romans.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
Every person has sinned against God. Sin is anything we think, say, or do that falls short of God's perfect standard. Because God is holy and perfect, our sin separates us from Him.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
The consequence of sin is spiritual death—eternal separation from God. We cannot save ourselves or earn forgiveness through good works. But God offers us a free gift: eternal life through Jesus Christ.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
God loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross and pay the penalty for your sins. Jesus died in your place, was buried, and rose again on the third day, conquering sin and death.
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Romans 10:9-10
To be saved, you must believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead, and confess this with your mouth. Salvation is a gift received by faith, not earned by works.
“For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13
God's promise is clear: anyone who calls on the name of Jesus Christ for salvation will be saved. This includes you! No matter what you've done, God's grace is sufficient to save you.

Sin separates us from God like an uncrossable chasm. We cannot reach God through our own efforts. But Jesus Christ is the bridge—through His death and resurrection, He made a way for us to be reconciled to God.

A Simple Prayer:
“Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose from the dead. I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name, Amen.”
