About This Event

We will be observing the Lord’s Supper in our 6 pm Evening Service. When we observe Communion or the “Lord’s Supper,” we are simply remembering Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross to save us from our sins. There is nothing about the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper that saves us; salvation comes by grace alone through faith in Jesus as our Savior and a growing personal relationship with Him. So, as you’re getting ready to come back to church, begin to prepare your heart to receive the Lord’s Supper. Ask God to show you any specific sins in your life that you need to confess and repent of. Come to worship prepared to celebrate the forgiveness that Jesus so graciously extended to us through His sacrifice on the cross, and let Him be glorified in your life. “Search me, O God. Try me and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” --Psalm 139:23
